Typically results last three to six weeks depending on individual hair growth cycles. Regular appointments can slow regrowth and produce finer hair over time. Factors like hormones, medications, and skincare influence duration.
Most clients report mild, brief discomfort similar to a quick pinch. Experienced technicians use gentle technique and soothing products to reduce pain. Numbing creams can be used on request, though usually not necessary.
Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin and hair at least a quarter-inch long for effective removal. Avoid exfoliating 48 hours prior, and skip retinoids or chemical peels for a few days to prevent sensitivity.
Transient redness or minor irritation is common but typically subsides within a few hours. To prevent ingrown hairs, gently exfoliate after 48–72 hours and keep the area moisturized. Consult us if severe irritation, persistent bumps, or infection occurs.
Wait at least 12–24 hours before applying heavy makeup or active skincare ingredients. Use gentle, non-comedogenic products and SPF afterward. Avoid strong acids or retinol for 48 hours to reduce irritation risk.
Waxing may not be suitable for clients with active acne, sunburn, open wounds, recent chemical peels, or isotretinoin use. Sensitive skin can be waxed with caution and a patch test; consult our therapist to determine safety.
