Get answers to common questions about Waxing - Stomach.
Ideally hair should be about 1/4 inch long so wax can grip effectively. If hairs are shorter, we may ask you to wait to grow; if much longer, we'll trim them slightly for a more comfortable, efficient waxing session.
Mild to moderate discomfort is normal, but our technicians employ soothing pre-wax treatments, fast strip removal, and skin calming products to minimize pain. We'll work with you on positioning and breaks, and can suggest gentle pain relief if you're especially sensitive.
Waxing - Stomach sessions are typically scheduled every four to six weeks, though individual hair growth varies. After a few appointments hair often regrows finer and more slowly, allowing longer intervals. We'll recommend a schedule tailored to your results and preferences.
Avoid heavy sun exposure and arrive with clean skin free of lotions or oils. Exfoliate gently two days before your appointment. If you use topical medications or have a skin condition, inform us so we can adjust the treatment for safety.
Some redness or mild bumps are normal and typically resolve within a day or two. To minimize ingrown hairs, follow aftercare: gentle exfoliation, regular moisturizing, and avoid tight clothing for 24-48 hours. Contact us if irritation persists or worsens.
Keep the area clean and avoid hot baths, swimming, saunas, and intense exercise for 24-48 hours. Use recommended soothing lotions and gently exfoliate after 48 hours to prevent ingrown hairs. Reach out if you notice any unusual or prolonged reactions.
